Hello and welcome. My name is Jill Rens, and I am a fully qualified Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist.

​

I trained with Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy, a recognised and respected provider of hypnotherapy training, and I hold an enhanced DBS certificate.

I am registered with both the AfSFH and the National Council for Hypnotherapy, and I am fully insured, helping to ensure you receive professional, ethical, and high-quality support.

​

I have a particular interest in supporting people experiencing stress, anxiety, and the effects of trauma. My approach is compassionate, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward in a way that feels positive, manageable, and suited to your individual needs.

I genuinely love the work I do and feel passionate about supporting people as they work towards greater wellbeing, confidence, and resilience. It is incredibly rewarding to see clients develop new perspectives and coping strategies, and I feel privileged to be part of their journey.

About Me

For almost 25 years, I worked in finance — a busy, high-pressure world where stress often felt like part of everyday life. I never imagined that my own life would eventually take a very different direction.

​

After experiencing a traumatic event in 2015, I was later diagnosed with PTSD in 2018. Receiving that diagnosis felt overwhelming, and like many people, I began looking for support that might help me better manage how I was feeling and improve my overall wellbeing.

​

That search led me to Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. From the very beginning, I found the approach gentle, positive, and supportive. Rather than focusing heavily on the past, it helped me better understand how the mind and body respond to stress and encouraged me to focus on moving forward in a calmer and more constructive way. I personally found the experience beneficial during a very difficult time in my life.

Because of my own experience, I decided to retrain and take a completely new direction professionally. I trained and qualified with the renowned Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT), which provided me with a strong, ethical, and evidence-informed foundation to support others safely and professionally.

​

Today, I work with people experiencing stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and the effects of trauma. I understand how exhausting life can feel when your mind struggles to switch off and everyday life feels overwhelming. My aim is to offer a warm, supportive space where you can feel listened to, understood, and gently supported as you move towards positive change at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
